    Automotive whipped up
    Bob Soderburg and John Vidas who
    operated &T Automotive in Gardena,
    California wanted a bike as a sort of
    sample case for their bike building
    talents—the thing they do at J & T.
    They had just picked up a totalled
    1971 Honda 750 that fought the
    battle with a car and lost, and they
    wanted to get something in the Long
    Beach bike show, so it was elected
    to serve double purpose, to kill two
    birds with one stone.
    The bike was stripped down and
    relieved of its backside. An AEE
    Choppers hardtail was attached, and
    Bob molded the entire frame. An AA
    Plating 1 6-inch over springer was re-
    worked. New %-inch needle bearings
    were substituted at the rocker pivots
    and the races were replaced as well
    as the rockers.
    The engine was totally rebuilt and
    fitted with K1 carbs. Cylinders and
